TRUCK

Role 1 medical support includes triage, immediate life-saving measures and first aid.

The Role 1 Truck delivers Role 1 level care, combined with rapid deployment capability and integrated patient transport functions. The unit is equipped with one physician’s workstation, a designated first aid treatment area, and four patient holding cots. All medical stations remain operational while the unit is in motion, enabling continuous patient care during transport.

Oxygen supply is available throughout the unit, with the option to integrate an oxygen generator providing up to 20 liters per minute. The physician’s workstation includes a tilting stretcher holder, patient monitor, ventilator, aspirator, infusion pumps, heating cabinet, infusion heater, and a refrigerator for secure drug storage. The first aid area is equipped with a patient monitor and ventilator for cases requiring an elevated level of care. Additional features include a wash-up station, four personnel seats, and a work table for medical documentation, control, and communications.

Beyond immediate treatment, the unit supports force health protection by providing guidance on disease prevention, non-battle injury avoidance, and operational stress management.
